There is a nice history to this specimen too: it was traded by Martin with an old Spanish dealer for a painting.

NM40E2: Fluorapatite with Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite
A perfect, floater Fluorapatite, with the base of the crystal healed. It is a nice intense blue-violet color, which is very sought after and difficult to find. On the rear edges of the crystal you can see areas of re-crystallization on which small amounts of Mica, Siderite and Chalcopyrite have formed. A really great specimen.
