Eudidymite-Epididymite with Aegirine.
EF6AF5: Eudidymite-Epididymite with Aegirine
A novelty at Sainte Marie-aux-Mines 2017. Very unusual aggregate, on matrix, of very well defined elongated crystals (the most common shape for both species is platy and poorly defined), one of them clearly dominant and doubly terminated, with very well developed faces and edges and with excellent terminal faces that are transparent-translucent and quite bright, with small Aegirine and Quartz crystals.
This specimen was published on the Mineralogical Record´s web page, in the ‘What's New’ section, report 47, July 21, 2017 edition.

Very unusual parallel growth, on matrix, of very well defined elongated crystals (the most common shape for both species is platy and poorly defined), one of them clearly dominant and partially doubly terminated, with very well developed faces and edges and with excellent terminal faces that are transparent-translucent and quite bright, with small acicular Aegirine crystals.
